Plus Grip
For mountain biking, is it possible that the type of tire you use makes it a bumpier ride?
I'm not talking about traction or grip on the road, but how much holes and rocks shake the bike! I'm using Schwalbe Marathon Plus tires, and it seems like my rides are much bumpier... The tires I'm using are very sturdy and rigid in order to prevent flat tires.
I'm doing XC riding, and previously used MTB / XC bontrager tires.
The next time you go out do this, Deflate your tires by about 15-20 psi! I am not kidding. At full pressure (assuming you are running at or near that ) your tires are absorbing all the bumps in the trail and transfering that to the frame of the bike. By letting the pressure out a little you will not suffer from pinched flats or anything else like that like you might think. The tire will absorb that "bump" much better and will not reverberate thru to the frame the way it has and you will also allow the tire to perform much better in handling of the bike and yes, even the traction of the tire will improve by allowing it to make better contact with the trail too! I kid you not. Play with the air pressure and get back to me! This is sound advice and you will stop the Pogo effect!

Do Tennis grip sizes really matter?
If the grip size might be a little to big for you, does it effect you when you play? I bought 3 1/2'' when i think i should have gotten 3 3/8'' and its too late to return the racquet plus i put an overgrip so it becomes like 3 5/8''.
Grip size does matter. If you have a smaller grip, you have more control. If you have a bigger grip, you have more power. When I was buying my racket, this is what I was told. Just make sure it's not TOO big or TOO small because then that could just hurt you.
Incase you need more info, look on google for grip sizes.
