Flexpoint Prestige Midplus
AeroPro Drive with Cortex, HEAD Flexpoint Prestige, or Wilson K-Six One 95?
I am a 4.0 aggressive baseline player who likes to rip groundstrokes and I usually don't want to get to the net unless I have to. I usually run for all of the shots my opponent makes. I have a Prince Diablo XP Midplus and I used to play with the Head Liquidmetal Radical. I hit with tons of topspin on my forehand side. The Prince is strung with Signum Pro-Poly Plasma at 61 pounds. I have a Western grip and a two-handed backhand.
I have a fast swing speed and I'm not worried about the swingweight. I would like my shots to go deeper and with a bit of more precision. Also, I like to have big first serves. I've heard that the Babolats have no feel. Is that true? I don't use shock dampeners. I'm also thinking about a Pure Drive Roddick to try out.
If there's any more racquets you can recommend, please list them. I appreciate your help.
haha will try my best ehh...i am a 5.0 player..i used to play for state some time back...10 yrs to be exact...still play competitvely now...
all the rackets you mentioned up there are great baseline rackets...of the 3 you mentioned and based on you description of your playing style i would recommend the k-95 and the aero pro drive
the k95 has a more solid feel to it...whilst the aero has great spin ability to it...control wise...both are equally as great...(i have tried the rackets
)
i am currently using the head microgel extreme pro...i think its a great stick to begin with...it has a larger string bed giving you easy access to great amounts of spin...the weight although unstrung at 315g...it dont feel that heavy..the weight behind the m.gel would easily push the shots deeper into the opponents base line...its the same racket ljubicic uses...
with you western forehand,...the amount of spin you would be able to generate with this stick is gonna give your opponent a hell of a time to return...high bounce and lotsa spin==horror...hahahha
do consider the head m.gel extreme pro...and also the 3 you mentioned are just as good...only depends on your preference...good luck and have fun experimenting on different rackets to see which one gives you the best feeel
