Raleigh Detour 4.0 bike for sale with no tubes, buy?
This man in my area is selling a Raleigh Detour 4.0 bike for $75. He says he has too many bikes and that it's in great condition! The only thing is, it doesn't have any tubes. Is that a really bad thing? I don't know much about bikes, but I've been wanting one to ride at the park for outdoor exercise. The bike has 17" wheels, and I'm a young woman about 5'5".
Should I get the bike?
That is a decent price, it sold new for around $400. If he meant a 17" frame it will fit you. The bike may need tubes but it should have them. You can buy 700 X 40c tubes at Walmart for about $4.22 each. If you see a valve stem it will have a tube in it. If the bike is in good shape and taken care of it's a good deal. It's a good bike for riding in the park and exercise. Try putting air in the tires before you do anything.

Do resistance tubes work? (Exercise equipment)?
Do resistance tubes work?
I am currently 17 years old, 5' 9" and 212 lbs... yeah have a little extra lol. My main this is I just got a resistance tube because I can find it easier to actually wake up and actually get started on the little exercise plan with it. I am just wondering does it help tone people up or is it a waste of money? I didnt pay for it, got it free.
Also if you know of any exercises then please let me know. I am really wanting to tone my chest! Whens the average time I should start seeing results? Like I said, I am just mainly worried about toning up my chest. I will eventually get waits like in mid summer but not now. I want to try the resistance tubes. Let me know if you know any exercises for chest with the tubes even if you dont have a pole to use or anything like that.
Yes, fitness resistance tubes do work depending on your goals. They won't make you big and buff but they will help tone you if you stay committed. However, your diet in the long run is going to be what tones you up. A high protein low carb diet along with plenty of water and cardio should do the trick. I also recommend elliptical trainers because they are great for working out the entire body including your upper body... chest..arms..shoulders..back.
