Whats the difference between babolat pure drive standard, plus, team, roddick, and roddick plus?
what is the difference between these:
Babolat Pure Drive Standard Cortex Racquet

Also, if you could recommend which one i should get as my secondary racquet that would be helpful. I am 5'8", 165 lbs (dont criticize, i have big bones >_<). I use very heavy spin and well placement, decent amount of power, and slow reflexes. I am a baseline player for the most part. I currently use the Babolat Aeropro Drive standard with cortex.
The difference between standard and plus is the actual length of the racquet. So Standard is 27 inches long while Plus is 27.5 inches long (its not much but believe me it makes a difference) it adds on to the reach of your shots and the maneuverability (at the net) and the heft of your groundstrokes.
Now the Roddick weighs approx. .5 oz. more than the regular pure drives (they weigh 11.2 and the roddick weighs 11.7). This results in a little more pop and gives you the racquet specs that a power baseline player like Andy Roddick would need. It does a stunning job on the serve and your groundstrokes but its not meant for a serve and volleyer at all. So this may be suitable for you if you can handle the added weight.
The pure drive is a little more control oriented and is more maneuverable for those serve and volleyers and players who like to get to the net a lot. It doesnt have as much pop but can help you with your spin more than the Roddick.
As for the Team, i really dont know to much about it. Its pretty much the same except for the stiffness and smaller things. Its closer to the pure drives in comparison than the Roddick though. Hope this Helps!

What racket should I buy? Please help!?
Which should I buy? Im really stuck on which I should buy
Babolat Pure Drive Roddick Plus or
Wilson [K] SIX. ONE TOUR
PLEASE ANSWER!
What kind of game do you play?
1. Some one who just wins points from the baseline, than the pure drive is for you. Another possibility can be the K Six-0ne Team
2. The K Six-One Tour 90 and the Pure Drive can be used to S&V (with the 90 having the slight advantage). I serious doubt you can play with it. You need to have excellent strokes and have the power to swing it. The K Six One 95 or even a regular PDR might be a better choice for a S&V game.
3. All court game which I am still trying to perfect after 6 years. The choice would be the tour 90, but very few player can play that racket effectively. I was looking at a K Blade Tour but I settled on the Babolat Pure Storm Limited.
My last thought is, just because a certain pro player plays a certain racket does not means that the racket for you (unless you try to copy all their strokes,volleys and serves). There are other rackets that may help you with your game either by technology design or new composite materials.
You need to demo the racket. Since I don't see how you play, I recommend you have a professional/certified tennis coach evaluate your strokes. The coach may be able to recommend a appropriate racket for your game.
