Roger's racquets specialises in selling tennis racquets. The owner purchases 120 racquets for $80 each. He applies a profit margin of 70% to the racquets, but finds he cannot sell any and consequently has 15% discount sale.
a. What was the price of each racquet before the sale? $136
b.What was the price of each racquet? $115.60
c.What was the percentage profit made on the cost price of each racquet? 44.5%
d.How much total profit was made if 80% of the racquets were sold in the sale? $1497.60
e.What is the overall percentage return on costs if the remaining racquets are given away? (The return is the amount of money brought in by sales) 15.6%
I know how to work out A,B and C but I have trouble figuring out the formula for working out D and E please help me the way to do D and E. Thanks

Does anyone know a site that sells tennis racquets for a cheaper price if I buy more than one?
I'm thinking of getting two Babolat Pure Storm Tour racquets but the price tag of 2x$180=$360 is a little too much. I was wondering if anyone knows anywhere that will give you a discount if you buy two racquets instead of one.

Yes. Your local pro tennis shop will usually give you a discount if you buy more than one racquet.
For example: I just bought two K Six One 95's from my local pro shop, a Six Pack Bag, and I got them strung there. So the price tallies as:
2x K Six One 95 : $190x2 = $380
Six Pack Bag : $60
Stringing Cost for both : $60
Total : $500
But then I asked if I could get a discount, they were very kind and said "Sure, why not?" They then lowered the price to $400 because they said I was a "Frequent Customer" although I had only been there once or twice. Haha. Nice people.
So yes, before you buy, ask for a discount. Hope I helped!
