What Is The "Ideal" Length Of A Six Hit In Limited-Overs Cricket?
In other words, what should be the minimum distance between the 22 yard strip and the boundary ropes? Batsmen, with their heavy willows, are clearing the ropes far too easily in limited overs cricket. Some sixes nowadays are around 70m long, only.
Spare the bowlers, I say.
Should we have more arenas with bigger playing areas, like what we see at the new Nagpur ground and the MCG?
Like I said earlier in the question I asked before, when the game had become so batsmen friendly, things have to be done to even out the game.I'm not even asking them to make the boundaries bigger, even if they restore it back to its original size its would be great. For example spinners feel so hard done when they have done so well to get the batsman to mishit and yet it goes for a six!!!
I guess 80M would be ideal

FirstClass Cricket $78.07 Firstclass cricket refers to the class of cricket matches of three or more days scheduled duration, between two sides of eleven players and officially adjudged firstclass by virtue of the standard of the competing teams. Matches must allow for the teams to play two innings each, although, in practice, a team might only play zero or one innings. Firstclass cricket is an aspect of major cricket but is not major cricket per se, as is sometimes thought. Major cricket is an unofficial or, at best, quasiofficial term that includes limited overs cricket, single wicket and other forms in which players and/or teams of high standard are playing. These forms are not firstclass cricket. Test cricket, although the highest standard of major cricket, is itself a form of firstclass cricket, although the term firstclass is commonly used to refer to domestic competition only. These small pieces are fitted together with no visible interstices (joints between the pieces) to make a painting that depicts landscapes or other subjects from the world. ok, that makes more sense….. that means about 800-900 dolalrs per month…….. how long is the season? 3-4 months? that would make $3200-4000 cost per player…….
hmmmmm….. CAN may still be able to work something out for at least 2 batsmen and 2 bowlers……… The thing is that Cricket is such a limited oppurtunity for Nepal, that it would not make financial sense for many player to just give up their jobs and go to Australia and play cricket every year for 4 months……………. its not like they have a full calender waiting for them when they get back………
But I think that the HPP Countries can definitely look at Aus….. Netherlands, Bermuda, Kenya (they are already in the process), and perhaps Canada (though the same logic of job holds)…….. Ireland and Scotland find it easier to get into English county cricket……….
Verizon actually has new lower rates… $50 for 5GB and the most coverage for 3G. The FiveSpot (free at the link below) would be a good choice for Verizon since the 4G devices don't work with Win CE.
For Sprint, go with the Overdrive. It's 4G and 3G and will work with your device. It's $10 more per month than the Verizon plan above, but is faster in 4G areas.
That said as a Truck driver, you are probably in 3G way more than 4G, so it may make sense to save $10 a month and get great coverage everywhere.
PS – I don't see much advantage to a router + USB at this point. (Once the Verizon 4G devices are 100% compatible with the routers, then it makes much more sense).
