Whoa dude, I don't know how I found this question considering it's on words and wordplay.

The Cortex technology is suppose to prevent the vibrations of the racquet from damaging your elbow so you don't get the infamous condition known as tennis elbow. It's not intended to enhance the performance, just for health benefits, so neither of the racquets is better than the other.

However, this technology does suppress the feel of the racquet, you no longer here that pop since it's that pop that makes the racquet vibrate. Some people want to hear the pop since it gives them a bit of comfort while others, like me, don't mind that smooth, faded sound. It's all a matter of preference, so you should demo both racquets and you'll notice the difference.

Remember that both have the same amounts of power and control. Remember that Pure Drive provides more power than control so it may be something you don't like or you would want.
