Tennis Experts NEEDED!!!!!?
Which Tennis Racket do you recommend for me? I am a 5' 5", fifteen year old male that weights about 110LBS and looking for a spot on the high school tennis team. I would say that I usually stay at the back line and hit ground strokes but I am pretty quick and can get to the net and hit a few volleys with my small size. I can sort of generate my own power and I am learning some topspin so I'm going to need some control. I just started playing this summer and I would say I am about 2.5 according to the NTRP. As you can tell i am very committed to this sport and looking to improve. I don't need a very professional racket, just one i could use while playing high school matches. Looking for something around 150 or under. THANKS A LOT!!

Which tennis racquet should I use next the wilson blx six one team 95 or the wilson blx pro open?
I'm 15 years old, a girl and I currently play with a babolat pure drive( new one). But I was thinking about getting another racquet and can't decide between these ones:
Wilson blx six one team 95: I was thinking about this one because it has a smaller head size but is also not too heavy which is why I didn't go with fed's racquet because I don't think I could handle a 12.5 oz racquet.
Wilson Pro open: I was thinking this one because it has a 100 frame which would have same as pure drive, but it is a bit heavier thant he pure drive and I also didn't know if there is a really big difference between the pro open and the pro tour

I have medium fast swings, but the problem with the bab is for me it does not have enough control, I find myself hitting some way out balls.
Please tell me which one you would think best suits me
before you invest your money (or your parents) getting another racket, try get a new string job with higher tension towards the upper end, that will give you better control. Give that a try first.

In high school I played on the tennis team. Tennis is a very interactive sport. As a player your input directs where the ball is going to go. For example if you shorten your swing the ball will not travel as far. Your input determines and influences the game greatly, as does your opponents input. The game of tennis is interactive because you must respond and react to the input of your opponent, otherwise the play will end.
It sounds like your friend is a jealous brat. Are you better than her at tennis? If so, she's probably trying to make you feel bad so you'll mess up and not make the team. She doesn't want to share the spotlight with you, so to speak.
Ignore her if you have to. Do your best at tennis tryouts and may the best player make the team!
