Is this a great choice for a tennis racket?
I am thinking of buying a Prince Tour NXG Graphite Oversize. I have a long and fast swing.
You can try a variety of other rackets like the Dunlop 400 4D or the Wilson N-six one, another that you may have in mind could be a head youtek speed pro which if I'm not wrong all are for a player who have a long and fast swing

Is tennis a good choice?
I've never been a part of any kind of sport in school but this year, since I'm now in high school, I want to try a sport.
I'm not athletic but I still want to try a sport. I've started to consider tennis but I'm pretty much clueless about the sport. I've only held a tennis racket maybe twice in my life. My high school isn't known for their tennis team, but is it still alright for somebody who is clueless to join?
Can someone who isn't exceptionally good at sports still play tennis well?
Would a different sport be a better choice?

My whole family plays (my sons play in sectional tournaments) and hubby and I play for fun. It is an excellent choice for you because it doesn't require a lot of flexibility or speed to become proficient.
1. Tennis generally requires very short spurts of speed.
2. Most of the more athletic students will choose team sports so you may have a better chance of making the team.
3. It takes practice, but if you learn to watch your opponent swing, you should be able to anticipate the direction of their ball before they actually even touch it.
