Beginner Tennis Racket

How do I play tennis?
Hello there! I am starting to play tennis as a lifelong sport. I am committing my self and i nearly don't care on what you people say about that because i love tennis as a sport now. I just recently dragged my self into it and researched for months on tennis. Anyways, does anyone know what type of equipment, shoes, beginners tennis racket, and etc. before i start playing? what are the basic needs for a beginner starting?
ANY tips would be appreciated!! thanks~
I would suggest that you play the sport of tennis because you LIKE IT and no other reason- you seem to have some doubts and or you are forcing the game upon yourself to prove a point. Just do it because you love to...It all comes from the heart- not the equipment.
