Backpack Racquet
What's a better bag?
I want a racquet bag that's not flashy. Up to now I've been using a normal backpack to hold my racquet but now I feel the need of getting one. There's this 3-Pack Yonex bag for $20 , the size is perfect but it's too flashy people might say I'm a poser jerk. There's also this 6-pack Adidas racquet bag on sale at the Adidas warehouse for only $12. It's not flashy but it's pretty bulky considering I only have one racquet. Which one will suit me? (Oh yeah there's also that head orange backpack but it's pretty expensive , $30)
you should buy a bag based on the number of racquets you have (or will potentially have) and extra gear you haul around. wristbands, headbands, rosin bag, dampeners, overwraps, cell phone, etc.
I wouldn't recommend a 6 racquet bag for only 1 racquet. seems a little goofy. but the 3.. if you play a lot, you will probably pick up another racquet along the way.
as to appearance, probably should avoid pink, sequines, hello kitty, etc. head, wilson, addidas, yonex, are all respectable.
FYI, those with 6-8-12 racquet bags, probably play a lot and do carry around many racquets. I have 6. different string tensions with backups in case string breaks (and they do all the time)....

Random stuff in my room!
Any motorcyclists here that play tennis or skateboard?
I haven't gotten a motorcycle yet. So far the only way I can see being able to take a tennis racquet or skateboard with you on a motorcycle, would be to use the tennis racquet bag strap and put it on your back. For a skateboard, it would be getting a skateboard backpack and putting the skateboard in it. I'm wondering if there are any other ways. Cause I think falling on your back could hurt with either of those on?
If I am going to take my equipment with me on my bike it goes into a secure bag that I wear on my back. I can't speak for a tennis racket or skateboard, but I have ridden my bike with my fencing gear. I have a bag that holds my mask, jacket and a couple of swords along with foot gear. My ride is only about 10 miles from the house and generally not in bad traffic, if I was going further or in bad weather conditions I would take a car.
As long as you can comfortably secure your equipment to yourself or your ride you should be fine. Just make sure you are comfortable doing this as it may change the way you will need to ride. I would not do it if I didn't feel safe, too much risk and should the equipment drop off it is expensive to replace.
