Used Babolat Pure what do you think about the babolat pure drive?
I am a tournament player and I use the babolat pure drive. I'm thinking of making a raquet switch because everyone is telling me how much better I would play with a different raquet (head mainly). Should I switch raquets?
It isn't the racket. Babolat Pure Drive Team is a good family of rackets and you can find 1 with a little different feel(the Nadal has a heavier head for instance)if you need a change. But Head makes some great rackets too, so you can experiment and hit with a couple to see if something else out there just plain feels better.
However, these rackets don't change your swing, your footwork or your strategies, so after the little "honeymoon" period of Wow, I just love this racket!, get back to working on what you do with the racket.
Babolat is a Francebased tennis, badminton, and squash equipment company, best known for its strings and tennis racquets which are used by several top players such as Rafael Nadal, Andy Roddick, Fernando Gonzalez, Igor Andreev, Fabio Fognini, Leander Paes, Nicolas Lapentti, Robby Ginepri, Dinara Safina, Agnieszka Radwa ska and Carlos Moya. The company has made strings since 1875, when Albert Babolat created the first strings made of natural gut. Babolat continued to focus on strings until 1994, when it became a total tennis company. That is, Babolat began producing racquet frames and selling them in Europe. It then moved on to Japan, and later to the USA in 2000. The popularity of Babolat racquets picked up quickly in North America and Europe, trademarked by the easily identifiable double lines across the strings of the racquet face, and along the racquet frame itself. We know you are here, our brothers and sisters . . . Pressia barely remembers the Detonations or much about life during the Before. In her sleeping cabinet behind the rubble of an old barbershop where she lives with her grandfather, she thinks about what is lost-how the world went from amusement parks, movie theaters, birthday parties, fathers and mothers . . . to ash and dust, scars, permanent burns, and fused, damaged bodies. And now, at an age when everyone is required to turn themselves over to the militia to either be trained as a soldier or, if they are too damaged and weak, to be used as live targets, Pressia can no longer pretend to be small. Pressia is on the run.Burn a Pure and Breathe the Ash . . . There are those who escaped the apocalypse unmarked. Pures. They are tucked safely inside the Dome that protects their healthy, superior bodies. Yet Partridge, whose father is one of the most influential men in the Dome, feels isolated and lonely. Different. He thinks about loss-maybe just because his family is broken; his father is emotionally distant; his brother killed himself; and his mother never made it inside their shelter. Or maybe it`s his claustrophobia: his feeling that this Dome has become a swaddling of intensely rigid order. So when a slipped phrase suggests his mother might still be alive, Partridge risks his life to leave the Dome to find her. When Pressia meets Partridge, their worlds shatter all over again.

The Pure Drive Roddick Junior is truly a scaled down adult racquet. I have hit with it and it has a very nice feel and great control. But it has a lot of power and cannot really handle the hard adult type swing.
You are at the top of the size range for the 26" racquet. But at 15, I'm sure you are a bunch stronger than a typical 11 year old kid.
Either get a new 27" Babolat or go to one of the web sites that specialized in slightly older models for under $100. My favorite site is http://www.justtennis.net in their "special deal" section. I was just looking at it – maybe the Yonex RQiS 1 XL Tour or the MicroGel Radical would be good for you.
