Head Youtek Speed MP or Babolat AeroPro Drive GT?
i am 15 years old and desperately need a new racquet. My current tennis instructor has suggested the following two and i am not completely sure on which to get. I want to develope into a more aggresive player than i was before so i need a lot of power, but also a lot of spin and control. Cost does not matter since they are pretty much the same. I would like your oppinion on both and which would be better for me. Please only comment if you are a pro/instructure or have had experience with either.
I own a tennis shop, www.justtennis.net, and I've played with them all. Basically you have to demo them. What everyone says above is correct. What you have to keep in mind is that you don't want a lot of power, you want the right amount of power. Too much and you will always worry about how hard to hit.
Remember you are15 and growing bigger and stronger every day. If you are going to be good, then definitely get the Speed. And you will have to demo the 18x20 and the 16x19 string patterns with the MP. The youTek material really does a nice job of giving either spin or a hard shot.
The Aeropro Drive is used by Nadal, but do you really think he uses a stock one. Do you really think that Dale Earnhardt drives a stock Chevy. The AeroPro Drive is meant for intermediatee players. If you want to be really good, then consider the Aero Storm line.
